Thirty-three years at the bench teaches you the discipline of repetition. I've created a legacy by making the same thing thousands of times, perfectly, without variation. That's been my practice.
Riposo is something new.
No calipers. No order sheets. No specifications. Each piece designed on the blowpipe, informed only by the moment and what came before it. Over eighty-five objects made, arranged, and edited into eight still life groupings. Each one a conversation between form, color, and negative space.
Riposo is Italian for rest. After decades of production, this is what it feels like to slow down. To make one thing at a time. To be fully present with the material instead of ahead of it.
Each arrangement is complete, signed, and offered as one. The curation is the work. Each set is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and full provenance. Documenting the maker, the materials, and details behind every piece in the arrangement.
