Riposo Azure No. 1

Azure is categorized as opaque, but that's not the whole story. Held to the right light, it turns translucent, the way alabaster does, carved thin enough to let light through. I wanted to work with that quality directly and a compose larger scale landscape, featuring open forms in the arrangement.

Limited series. Sold as composed. Five unique, hand-blown Azure glass objects, arranged as shown. Each piece signed and numbered, A1-1 through A1-5.
